2- UTSA’s MFA Thesis Exhibition:
With work by Joe Harjo and Mat Kubo, the exhibition proposed an insightful dialogue and an interactive exhibition that captured the public’s attention even after they left the event. With an interactive dress-yourself-as-an-indian photobooth and Kubo’s surprise gifts on returned items, the show is never over.
3- Adam Schreiber’s Flanagan-Tiravanija at the Linda Pace Foundation
The beautiful compositions by Schreiber are deep in concept. The lightness and sheerness of the elements in his photographs are just stunning.
4- Jimmy James Canales Hair Today Gone Tomorrow
The video performance by local artist Jimmy James Canales was posted on facebook this month and published later on the magazine. The online exhibition of this video presents with an interesting analysis of Canales’ exploration of identity.
5- OLLU Literary Festival
